Excursions
The valleys of western Liguria stretch from the sea to the mountains and offer diverse landscapes. You can explore them day by day starting from the Camping site. The ridges touch the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri and the Via Alpina, from which you can begin a crossing of the Alps from Ventimiglia to Trieste. They are rich in blooms and biodiversity, and the network of trails is extensive and suitable for everyone.
The Regional Park of the Ligurian Alps offers protection from the cold. Ancient mule tracks from Pigna and Buggio lead to the pastures. From Rocchetta, you climb towards the Val Roja. Some peaks were ancient Ligurian castellieri. Other paths connect the main centers of the Marquisate of the Doria of Dolceacqua.

The Camping delle Rose is connected to the historic center of Isolabona via a historic nature trail called Cupeira. The name derives from the dialect word "coppo," because along the path, there is an ancient kiln where tiles were baked. The route ends right at the entrance of the twelfth-century castle of the Doria marquises, lords of Isolabona, and winds through chestnut and olive trees, offering breathtaking views and panoramic vistas of the Nervia Valley and Mount Toraggio.
The excursion, not strenuous, is ideal for families. It's also suitable for mountain biking. The walking time is 45 minutes.
